1. Agreement Overview

1.1 Protocol Governance

The DEX.cc Protocol is governed exclusively by $DXCC token holders through on-chain voting. No corporate entity controls the Protocol.
Products Include:
- Decentralized Interface (dex.cc application)
- Community-maintained Kaspa wallet integrations
- Cross-chain swaps via Kaspa BlockDAG.

1.2 User Acceptance

By accessing the Protocol, you:

Acknowledge interactions are peer-to-peer with no intermediary.
Confirm compliance with applicable laws as an individual user.

2. Protocol Operations

2.1 Community-Led Development

Code Upgrades: Implemented only after on-chain governance votes by $DXCC token holders.
Treasury: Fees (if activated) fund public goods/developer grants, managed by token holders.

2.2 Risk Allocation

No Entity Liability: Protocol risks (e.g., smart contract exploits) are borne collectively by users.
User Responsibility: You alone manage wallet security and tax compliance.

3. User Obligations

3.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Evade sanctions (OFAC, FATF) or manipulate markets.
Exploit vulnerabilities without reporting to community security channels.

3.2 Financial Terms

Gas Fees: Paid directly to Kaspa network; not controlled by the Protocol.
Taxes: Users self-report gains/losses from swaps.

3.3 Wallet Security

Seed Phrase Responsibility: Loss = irreversible asset loss; no recovery mechanism exists.

4. Governance & Disputes

4.1 Governance Mechanics

Voting: Token holders propose/changes via dao.dex.cc or similar decentralized tools.
Treasury Allocation: Funds disbursed per governance votes for development bounties.

4.2 Dispute Resolution

Decentralized Arbitration: Conflicts resolved via community-jury systems (e.g., Kleros Court).
Governing Law: Local law applies to individual users.

6. Miscellaneous

5.1 Protocol "AS IS"

No Warranty: Protocol provided without uptime guarantees, maintained by volunteers.
Liability Cap: Collective community liability capped at $100 USD per claim.

5.2 Third-Party Services

Unvetted Integrations: Bridges (e.g., Kaspa↔Ethereum) carry independent risks; Protocol does not audit security.

5. Legal Disclaimers

5.1 Protocol "AS IS"

No Warranty: Protocol provided without uptime guarantees, maintained by volunteers.
Liability Cap: Collective community liability capped at $100 USD per claim.

5.2 Third-Party Services
